Measurement and Analysis of Anatomical Structures Associated with the Implantation of Anterior Mental Foramen Based on CBCT

To evaluate the occurrence and morphological characteristics of related anatomical structures in anterior mental foramen region to verify measurement consistency by cone beam CT (CBCT) specimen measurement. Thirty-two mandibular specimens were selected measure relevant take CBCT images for 3D reconstruction using NNT-Viewer. The studies included diameter foramen, accessory median lingual distance from lower margin mandible, upper crest alveolar ridge. including a total 59 central foramens, with 100% probability occurrence. Four found have an which 1 had bilateral foramens. Compared direct observation, there differences number foramens 3 specimens. mean between edge alveolus was 13.7 mm. There statistically significant two methods measuring (mm) aperture (P<0.05). Except (ICC=0.658), ICC other study variables above 0.85. results showed high degree consistency. this specimens, jaw bones could be analyzed before operation intermental region.
